Sartorius CB counting scale is accurate, fast and affordable and the unique
sample dial is a turn for the better.
The new CB generation meets all requirements for rugged, practical, and good-value
counting scales. 100% incomparable accuracy and speed with total ease
of operation and all this with prices starting under $600
The Sartorius CB06CCX-N counting scale offers 600 grams weighing capacity and increments in
0.1 gram intervals. Assuming a $1 US Bill weighs approximately 1 gram,
so if you cut the dollar bill into 10 equal pieces would result in something
weighing about 0.1 grams. Basically if your part weighs greater than the
weight of the 1/10 piece of the dollar bill this counting scale can count the
part.
The most prominent feature of the new CB is the selector knob for setting the
reference sample quantity. One easy turn selects the right reference quantity.
Choice of reference sample quantities: 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50 or 100 parts.
Simple to operate, portable, yet rugged enough for heavy industrial use.
This selector was developed on the basis of an independent study conducted by
the Faculty of Psychology at the University of Goettingen, Germany. The
study concluded that most users intuitively consider a rotary-type knob the
most reliable for selecting a setting.
In the real world, the Sartorius CB effortlessly proves that a low-priced counting
scale operates ultrafast and ultra-accurately. It features a quality level
that is truly exceptional for this class of counting scale. The CB enables
the user to weigh in grams, kilograms, pounds or ounces, with weighing ranges
from 0.6 to 64 kg and average piece weights starting at 0.01 g. Besides the
CB's high functionality, this low-cost workhorse for daily heavy-duty use in
industry has a friendly, fresh new look that will turn heads as well.
Just one glance will tell. Easy to read 3 displays shows you the count,
average piece weigh (apw), and total weight. The entire CB Series counting
scales come with a RS-232 interface and the 25-pin D-Sub port and be changed
to a USB buy purchasing our optional RS-232
to USB converter kit.
Incidentally, all Sartorius CB counting scales can run flexibly around the clock,
even without line current. Six (6) alkaline C batteries provide 24 hours
of operation.

batteries for over 24 hours. Whatever the requirements of the real
world, the practical CB is made to meet them.

in the weight units g, kg, lb or oz. This means you have all information
at a glance . and with the highest accuracy you've come to appreciate
in Sartorius products. CB will give you ultra fast results.
Forget odd fractions. WYLIWG - what you load is what you get: 1,000 parts
on the pan = 1,000 parts on the display .
Fast, Accurate Results - Fast piece counts -- accurate down to the
last part. No lost inventory or time wasted by inefficient operation.
Three displays simultaneously show the piece count weighed and the weight
readout in g, kg, lb, or oz
Designed for the Real World - The new plastic housing design
with stainless steel load plate inset is made to take the abuse of tough
daily use. Yet the scale is lightweight enough so that it's easy
to carry for counting anywhere, anytime.
Perfect communication. Every CB counting scale has a serial port on the

Sartorius CB Series digital counting scales offer 7 models with capacities
from 1 lb to over 140 lbs with 0.0002 to 0.02 lbs readability
Note:
Try to avoid purchasing a counting scale with more capacity than you
typically will be needing. If 90% of the time you will be counting
no more than 6000 grams of parts then a 6000 gram capacity counting
scales is a better choice than a 16000 capacity scale since you may
be sacrificing resolution which is critical to the accuracy of your
counts. In those situations where the items being counting will
weigh greater than the capacity of the scale, you simply count half
the items and then the second half. Sartorius recommends the average
piece weight (APW) must be greater than or equal to the default resolution
(1 division - the increment of the scale).
For example, if we say a $1 USD bill weighs 1 gram then the correct
selections for a counting scale would be the CB6CCX-N. The CB6CCX-N
spec in the table above shows the Readability
is 1 gram. If you ever plan on counting 10000 - $1 USD
bills at a time and typically count out 5000 $1 bills per money bag
then you are better off buying greater resolution and purchase the CB6CCX-N.
The goal is to maximize the resolution of the scale and not purchase
a counting scale with capacity that you may never use. It's always
nicer to have more resolution than required for your counting application
verses more capacity.
Lowest average piece weight (APW) is really a game all counting scale
manufactures state in their advertising literature. It is the
smallest weight the counting scale can sense assumes you use a sample
count of 100 pieces.
