Sartorius' unique monolithic weight sensor produces steady readings using since it is cut from a single block of a special, highly rugged aluminum alloy using high-speed 21st century milling technology. The design in the area of the pan linkage is highly resistant to mechanical stress and therefore has exceptionally high mechanical stability. Also since the monolithic weigh cell is cut from a single block of aluminum there are no screw fasteners needed between functional parts. This keeps the system less sensitive to fluctuations in temperature, and with fewer parts there is less chance of failure. You achieve incredibly fast response time, unfailing reliability and near-zero susceptibility to interference. The reasons for these considerable advantages are two fold: the number of individual parts has been reduced by more than 70% and the mechanical construction has been designed to last for years of trouble-free operations.
Sartorius begin building balances in 1871 and holds the Guinness Book of World Record for the most accurate balance in the world. When people call us demanding absolute weighing accuracy we tell them Sartorius is the only choice.
Precision Weighing Balances is an Authorized Valued Distribution Partner for Sartorius Laboratory Products & Services. Be very leery who you purchase your balance from since incidents have occurred where people purchased Sartorius balances online advertised as brand new but instead were refurbished, demo or broken units. When they sent in the balance to Sartorius they had absolutely no warranty. If someone tells you they are a reseller, sub-dealer or agent they are NOT an Authorized Sartorius Dealer and your warranty could be in jeopardy. Why take chances when buying the world's best scientific laboratory balance when you can purchase from Precision Weighing Balances an Authorized Dealer.

In the YouTube video above we cover the "Weighing" mode and the different configurations choices. Learn more about the "zero" & "tare" icon on the touchscreen display. We'll show you how simple it is to change the weight unit (g > oz > dwt > lb etc) and how you can drop the last significant digit to increase even faster stable weighing results. Although the laboratory balance we use for this demonstration is the Sartorius Secura225D-1S semi microbalance the weighing functionality is the same for all the Practum, Quintix and Secura models.
In the YouTube video above we cover the "Statistics" mode and the different configurations choices. Statistics is available on all models in the Quintix and Secura Series but NOT available on the Practum balances
Repeatable results and linearity are the key prerequisites to obtaining accurate and traceable weighing results. That's why Quintix has been subjected to extensive automated repeatability, linearity and temperature drift tests to guarantee that it meets our high metrological specifications. Inside a virtual "rigorous testing chamber", Quintix test samples undergo more than 1,000,000 load stress tests to ensure that after years of standing up to the rigors of daily use with different weight loads, it will still deliver accurate results just like it did on day one.
Quintix is crafted in Germany with high-grade components and materials. For example, the weigh cells are mounted on a solid, special aluminum alloy base plate, which is extremely impervious to ambient conditions, such as temperature fluctuations and vibration.
All these tests and features add up to user benefits like the legendary reliability of the Sartorius Quintix, a major advantage it shares with every other Sartorius balance.
Peace of Mind with isoCAL
Temperature fluctuations have an influence on the accuracy of your weighing results
This is why every Quintix comes equipped with the internal adjustment function isoCAL that ensures consistently accurate results.
Each time isoCAL is performed, the Cal Audit Trail function in Quintix records all data on this procedure so it can be traced for your quality assurance.
Transfer weighing results to your pc
