Ohaus Pioneer PA4101 digital scale weighs up to 4100 grams and increments in 0.1 gram divisions. That is weighing sensitivity to a tenth of a gram. Ohaus Pioneer digital scale is ideal for basic weighing applications, but also features percent weighing and parts counting modes. Ohaus Pioneer scales only offers external calibration, so if you prefer internal calibration, you should look at one of our other balances. Motorized internal calibration drives up the price of digital balances substantially. We encourage people to buy balances without internal calibration not only because they are more affordable, but because external calibration is the only way to truly calibrate a balance.
Ohaus Pioneer series has lab balances for all sorts of weighing applications. Whether you need a readability of 0.1 g, 0.01 g, 0.001 g or 0.0001 g, there is a Pioneer balance model for your weighing application. Selectable Environmental Settings – Three filter modes and adjustable zero tracking adjust balance sensitivity to environmental disturbances, or application requirements
When the Ohaus PA4101 digital scale is first installed, or is moved to another location, the electronic balance must be calibrated to ensure accurate weighing results. The Ohaus PA4101 requires the purchase of a optional external 2 kilogram calibration weight to perform calibration. We always recommend that you purchase the calibration weight when you purchase the balance. You can learn more about calibration weights, class weights and the tolerances at calibrationweight.com
Is the Ohaus PA4101 too expensive for your budget? We also offer the A&D EJ4100 (4100g x 0.1g) or EK4100i priced substantially less than the Ohaus PA4101 digital scale.
