Some people might say how can the i3100 be priced so low. Again the i3100 is built with a loadcell using strain gauge technology. Many people just don't have the money to spend for the higher accuracy, more resolution and better performance with an electromagnetic force restoration balance like the A&D GF3000 or Sartorius ENTRIS 3202-1S, Practum 3102-1S or Quintix3102-1S. MyWeigh isn't the only company now selling precision weighing balances using strain gauge technology. Adam has the PGL3002 which is a strain gauge, but cost a lot more than the MyWeigh. My Weigh's i3100 digital weighing scale shown with wind guard.  The removable 3 door all glass draftshield has door opening of approximately 4 inches. The windshield should be used when the balance is used in environments were air movements could effect the weight readings.
