People keep calling for greater savings not willing to buy brand new and asking
for gently used balances and we are listening. Our strong relationship with
Sartorius allows us to now offer balances that were used for sales demonstration,
trade shows, or a customer that claimed was defective and was returned, but no
evidence of failure was found.
All balances meet the manufacturer specifications and are calibrated by factory
trained Sartorius technician prior to shipping to you. The balances have
all the original packing material and operation manual, but the box will show
signs that it was shipped before to another customer. The balance and weigh
pan may have some small scratches that may show cosmetically that the unit's not
brand new, but the balance will perform as a brand new unit. Sartorius classifies
these balances as DQE - Demo Quality Excellent. All demo balances carry
a limited 12 month manufacturer warranty.
