Mettler Toledo XRT Price Computing Scale replaces the Mettler-Toledo Tiger II
price computing weighing scale with a few new features. The METTLER TOLEDO
XRT changes includes improved functionality such as a backlit display for easy
viewing in poor lighting areas. The METTLER TOLEDO XRT offers a 32 button
keyboard with a Tare and Zero key feature, and up to 24 PLU presets with the ability
to hold up to 124 PLU’s. Accumulation, total price holding and fraction
functions are also advanced features found on the new XRT. Operator display
features of the XRT include seven segment with weight, unit price, total price
and a smart battery indicator.

The new XRT models uses the same body style, weigh pan and the only
changes is now you get 124 PLU verses the Tiger II offered on 100 PLU.
Mettler Toledo also changed the coloring of the keypad slightly. Tiger II has a blue & gray overlay
& the XRT has a black & gray overlay. |

The Tiger II is easy to use. Simply enter
the unit price and the Tiger II does all the rest. In the image
above I enter $1.29 per pound for the tomatoes. The display
shows the 4 tomatoes weigh 1.48 pounds and at $1.29 per pound the
amount of money to charge for these beauties is $1.91

Top row: the weight shown in decimal pounds. So we have 1.28
lbs of grapes
Middle row: the price per pound. So we're charging $1.29 per
pound
Bottom row: the cost. If you want these delicious grapes the

scale so there is no questions what you're doing on the other side
of the scale. Here the two containers of strawberries weigh
1.91 lbs, unit cost is 99 cents per pound, $1.89 is the cost for these
strawberries.
