We have NO remaining stock on the Acculab VIC-123. The information listed below on the VIC-123 is for reference only for those people researching the specification on a VIC123 scale they already own.
Acculab is owned by Sartorius and Sartorius Mechatronics decided to streamline the company brand name holdings and eliminate the Acculab brand. Acculab Vicon Series are now replaced by the Sartorius M-Prove Series.
Acculab is a victim of deleveraging and the brand Acculab has terminated production on December 31, 2010. Yes - Acculab DOES NOT EXIST in 2011 since Sartorius decided to shutdown the Acculab brand name. The Acculab VIC-123 was resurrected as the Sartorius M-Prove AY123. The Sartorius AY-123 is really the same scale with a different color plastic housing and now more money since it is sold under the Sartorius brand.
If you need additional help finding a digital milligram scale that is in stock give the experts a call at Precision Weighing Balances. The information listed below on the VIC-123 is for reference only for those people researching the specification on a scale they already own.
Hunters whether weighing
bullets or arrowhead are raving over the VIC-123 since the digital scale increments
in 0.02 grain intervals and unlike many of the scales found in the gun & ammo
stores the Acculab works!!
[120g x 0.001g] operates AC Adapter ONLY, has a 4 inch diameter weighing pan with
round glass draft ring, and the 100 gram calibration mass is included. Built
in Arvada, Colorado and backed with a 2-year parts and labor limited factory warranty!
The Acculab VIC-123 is a low cost milligram scale since it's weigh cell is built
gauge technology. The strain gauge can give you good weighing results
for weighing static loads, but can drift much more due to temperature variations
caused by excitation energy used with a load cell strain gauge weigh sensor.
You'll get better performance, linearity and repeatability with an electromagnetic
weigh sensor like those found in the A&D FX-120i or Scientech ZSP150 but this weigh sensor design cost more money. If you're on a
tight budget and your weighing results aren't for a super critical application
then the Acculab VIC123 might be your best choice.
The Vicon scales are ideal balances for Industrial, Laboratories, Research,
Educational, Specialty Weighing Applications and more. Whether weighing
multiple samples with totaled results, formulating a color, counting, percent
weighing, specific gravity, or under pan weighing, Acculab has the answer in VICON.
