If you need an NTEP Approved Class II balance and the GF-1200N is too costly for your pocketbook we recommend you review the Mettler-Toledo JB3002-GA-F which is Legal for Trade and features 3100 grams maximum weighing capacity and increments in 0.01 gram divisions for less money than the GF-1200N.  This Mettler Balance also offers FACT (Fully Automatic Calibration Technology), which automatically initiates the internal adjustment of Mettler balance whenever temperature changes risk affecting the accuracy of your weighing results.  The A&D GF-1200N can be calibrated externally only and the 1 kg calibration mass is a costly expense.
