Smart Range was designed for users on a budget that require high resolution
over a limited range. SmartRange allows the operator to select a movable
fine range throughout the entire weighing range of the balance. The dual
range balances offers you two balances in one. The range is switched automatically
depending on the value displayed. Pressing the "RE-ZERO"
key allows weighing in the precision range, regardless of the tare value.
Sounds all confusing but it isn't. You'll have 8100 grams weighing gram
with 0.1 grams readability and with a simple press of the "RE-ZERO"
key you'll have ten times more resolution (0.01g) anywhere within the high range
domain. This finer resolution will provide you with 0.01 gram intervals
for a weighing spanned up to 2100 grams.
Fast, new Super Hybrid Sensor (SHS) gives you the ultimate in response speed
- Just 1.5 Seconds! SHS combines the best of magnetic force restoration
and single point parallelogram load cell technologies. If the time ever
comes where the SHS needs repair, you just replace one of three parts - there
is no need to replace the whole weigh sensor as is the case with higher priced,
slower competitive models. This new, innovative sensor is a core technology
certain to dominate in the 21st century. Made in Japan by A&D Weighing,

Standard built-in RS-232 interface allows you to easily connect the balance
to a PC with included
WinCT software included with all A&D laboratory balances. You
can import the data into your PC software, such as Windows based Word/Excel
software. This balance data communication software is included as standard
equipment unlike other manufacturer's that charge $100's for their software.
Need to use the balance in a area without a computer?? No problem A&D
the standard RS-232 interface can be tied into the optional
8121B data printer to meet your GLP/GMP requirements.
GF-K Series offers external calibration only and requires the purchase
of the optional calibration masses if you desire to calibrate the balance.
Animal weighing for maximum accuracy, the entire GX-K / GF-K Series can be programmed
to average readings over a set period of time -- ideal for weighing lab animals
or for work in unstable environments.

A&D
GX-K and GF-K Precision Balances can most easily be described as an extension
of our current GX & GF Toploaders duplicating the many versatile operation features, but providing higher
capacities (up to 31kg) and larger pan size (10.6" x 8.3").
The GX-K (like current GX) have internal calibration while the GF-K (like
current GF) have external calibration only.
If the GX-K
and GF-K Series 10.6"
x 8.3" isn't large enough then we offer A&D top of the line industrial
balance - the GP Series with its behemoth 15.1" x 13.5" weighing pan.
GX-K/GF-K
industrial balances are built with the Super

GLP/GMP/ISO Compliance
ID Number The balance ID number can be set. It is used to identify
the balance when GLP is used. The ID number is memorized and
maintained once it is fixed, even if the AC adapter is removed.
