LE34001P high capacity balance from Sartorius was discontinued and replaced with the CPA34001P in May 2008.  The latest model is almost identical to the LE34001P except for the new keypad overlay.

The CPA34001P High Capacity Series is a industrial grade precision weighing balances that are loaded with features.  Poly range provides greater accuracy changing resolution automatically for three different capacity levels.  Weighing from 0.1 to 8000g you'll have 0.1 gram graduations, then for capacities from 8,000 to 16,000 grams the resolution drops to 0.2 graduations and finally any weight from 16,000 to the full capacity of 34,000 grams the indicator will increment in 0.5 gram intervals.

Rugged, flexible and high performance are hallmarks of the Sartorius Line.  Rugged die cast aluminum alloy base construction with extra-large 15.7" x 11.8" stainless steel weighing platform to accommodate those weighing applications where you need a big weighing area for a bucket or large tray.  From the highway for weighing aggregate to the store room for weigh bulk chemicals the CPA is ready to meet your weighing needs.  The fork lever weighing system is only found in the Sartorius CPA providing dependable measurements.  The fork lever was computer designed with fewer moving parts yielding highly reproducible weighing results in practically any environment and long lasting.

All high capacity balances in the CPA Series feature motorized internal calibration.  isoCal allows the balance to be preset to perform calibration automatically or prompts user to calibrate, plus it monitors adjustments through GLP-compliant printouts.  If the ambient temperature fluctuates outside of a user-defined range or after a preprogrammed time interval, the isoCAL function will automatically perform internal calibration and adjustments at regular intervals with consistently high accuracy.  The CPA34001P comes standard with motorized internal calibration.  The core of our clients purchase the CPA Series especially in the pharmacopeia sector.

Another similar model you should review is the Mettler-Toledo SB32001-GA precision balance.  Mettler Toledo SB32001-GA offers 32,100 grams weighing capacity with readability to 0.1g, large 13.7" x 9.1" weighing platform and NTEP Approved.

The easy to use simply keypad makes using the CP Series a breeze to use.
The electronic brains are all located in the indicated head that features a bright, bold display with backlight making weighing results easy to see in even poor lighting areas.	The stainless steel weighing platform can be removed, to facilitate quick and easy cleaning.  Sturdy, chemically resistant materials insures many dependable years of weighing.
The weighing indicator head can be unscrewed from the base and positioned away from the weighing platform.  Beneath the aluminum shroud is tucked away 5 feet of indicator cable.	Weigh below feature is available (optional eigh below hanger required) for specific gravity applications or weighing large items by hanging the object below the balance.  Additional applications would be for weighing cold or hot objects that would effect the performance of any balance if placed directly on the weighing platform.
RS-232 bi-directional serial interface is standard for connecting the balance to the optional Sartorius printer or your PC.  Error free documentation of results in a GLP/GMP standard compiles with most quality assurance regulations.	Adjustable feet makes leveling the balance a cinch especially with the sprint bubble indicator located on the side of the base.  Die-cast metal base with shock absorbing pan supports are just a few features that make the Sartorius designed for long term durability.
