SM124D is a dual range semi micro analytical balance. You'll have 0 to 120 grams with 0.1 milligram readability with a fine range of 0-40g with 0.01mg. What is even more remarkable is the dual range model possesses Scientech's exclusive Floating Tare™ feature. This powerful option gives you two balances in one unit. Used hand-in-hand with autoranging, Floating Tare™ provides low range readability (0.01mg) throughout the entire high range capacity of the balance. Access Floating Tare™ with the press of a button and you have ten times more resolution anywhere within the high range domain.

The foundation for this high performance SM Series is Scientech's unique and unequalled displacement detector, which is the heart of the state-of-the-art, self-adjusting, digital servo. The result is a ten-fold increase in weighing performance while maintaining the proven, simple, easy to use, operator interface. The attractive quality of this new design is demonstrated by the CE mark of conformity along with Scientech's ISO 9000 registration.

Scientech SM semi microbalances features a tall spill ring around the weighing pan to eliminating air buoyancy issues caused by air currents traveling under the weighing pan.

Scientech SM124D analytical balance is microprocessor controlled with built-in functions to improve performance. Automatic adjustments to temperature changes are accomplished with real time temperature compensation software through Scientech's exclusively designed software algorithms.

This software corrects every updated weight reading for temperature changes as small as 0.001°C without having to recalibrate the balance. This revolutionary internal software yields accurate, reproducible results without the need to recalibrate your balance as the ambient temperature varies. All these complex calculations take place in the background and are totally invisible to the end user.
