New CPWplus 200M platform scales offer a bi-directional RS232 interface to allow connections to printers or computers. Using standard commands users can request gross, net, and tare weights be sent automatically. Optional Winwedge
software collects scale data and can be exported to Microsoft Excel for further analysis.
Adam Equipment expanded their CPW series floor scales in 2008 with models featuring larger weighing platforms. New CPWplus200M veterinary scales use the same indicator as the standard CPW series but features
a 19.7 x 19.7 inch stainless steel weighing platform and adjustable non-slip feet for leveling.
Adam's CPWplus200M veterinary scale weighs up to 440 lb in 0.1 lb increments. Veterinarians may also purchase the optional non-slip mat along with this vet scale
to prevent animals and pets from slipping and falling.
Large platform combined with dynamic weighing mode and mountable indicator make the CPWplusM Series extremely versatile.

All CPWplus scales utilize the same versatile indicator which
features 4 weighing modes (lb, kg, oz, lb:oz), a crisp backlit
display, color coded buttons with positive click feel, and
simple, quick operation. The indicator can be mounted where
you need it: on the scale, on a wall, or seated on a desk giving
total flexibility for the best viewing position.

With the right power options, the CPWplus lets you work
where you need to. CPWplus-M offers rechargeable
batteries with over 60 hours of use before needing to be
recharged. To save battery life, the backlit display can be set
to always on, off or automatically on for 10 seconds when a
weight is placed on the platform.
All Adam Equipment CPWplus models including the CPWplus-M use the same digital indicator. Above is the indicator for the CPWplus35, but the basic layout is the same. The only difference is the weighing capacity and the readability.

The
CPW Series comes standard with an indicator bracket that allows you to
tilt the indicator for optimum viewing. This bracket can also be
installed on a wall and includes the hardware for a wall mount installation.
The
CPW is designed with 4 loadcells providing spectacular repeatable results.
This design lessens readings that fluctuate when the weight of the parcel
does not have the load evenly distributed.
We
took apart a CPW Scale to show you the quality. The independent
loadcell in each of the 4 corners provides you with accurate readings
no matter where you place the weight on the scale's platform
Numerous
platform shipping scales, many of which are sold in the office supplies
stores, use only one loadcell in the center of the platform. This
design uses 4 levers that transfer the force applied to the platform to
a tiny single loadcell in the center. This design depends upon multiple
fulcrum points. Having additional moving parts increases the chances
of failure. The arms can easily bend if the load applied to the
platform isn't properly centered on the scales. The Adam CPW
eliminates all these possible failures by implementing 4 individual loadcells
which is more expensive way to build a scale.
