The CFC330a increments in 0.01 kg (equivalent to the weight of 2 nickels).  The rule of thumb for selecting the correct counting scale for peak performances is to determine the lightest part you'll be counting and purchase a counting scale with 5 times that in resolution.  With that said the CFC330a is good for counting parts having a weight greater than 50 grams.  What's 50 grams? - taking 10 nickels out of your coin jar and the part you want to count needs to weigh heavier than the 10 nickels.  Try to avoid oversizing your counting scale as you may be sacrificing resolution which is critical to the accuracy of your counts.

The CFC counting scale is fast and simple to use, and being battery powered can be used anywhere on the site.  Battery life is typically 70 hours before recharging, so they can be used shift after shift even when away from an AC supply.
