The original CPW Series was so popular Adamlab enhanced the scale to the CPWplus
and added two additional models plus all units come standard with a built-in
RS-232 interface for data acquisition applications. The CPWplus Series
is awesome and the CPWplus6 is one of our best sellers. The scale offers
the lowest capacity but has the highest readability of all the scales
in the CPWplus Series. This portable bench scale offers 13 lb x 0.005
lb / 6 kg x 0.002 kg. Large 11.8" x 11.8" stainless steel platform
that is removable for easy cleaning. Unlike other compact bench scales
that typically offer only 2 weigh modes the CPWplus Series offers pounds, kilograms
and ounces. The 1.0" LCD digital display showing net, gross, zero,
stable and weighing units and is large enough for easy viewing.
The indictors can be placed up to 9 feet away from the base when fully stretched.
The indicator cord is similar to a phone handset cord and 6 feet is more reasonable
since most people will never fully stretch the cord out fully.
Precision Weighing Balances offers hundreds of different bench scales,
but by far the CPWplus Series is the best bang for the buck.
The CPWplus has hundreds of uses and operates on either batteries or AC Adapter.

Shown below are images
of the original CPW Series. The new CPWplus Series looks
very similar.
The CPWplus Series comes standard with
an indicator bracket that allows you to tilt the indicator for
optimum viewing. This bracket can also be installed on
a wall and includes the hardware for a wall mount installation.
The CPW is designed with 4 load cells providing
spectacular repeatable results. This design lessens readings
that fluctuate when the weight of the parcel does not have the
load evenly distributed.
We took apart a CPW Scale to show you the quality.
The independent load cell in each of the 4 corners provides you
with accurate readings no matter where you place the weight
on the scale's platform
Numerous platform shipping scales, many of which
are sold in the office supplies stores, use only one load cell
in the center of the platform. This design uses 4 levers
that transfer the force applied to the platform to a tiny single
load cell in the center. This design depends upon multiple
fulcrum points. Having additional moving parts increases
the chances of failure. The arms can easily bend if the
load applied to the platform isn't properly centered on the
scales. The Adam CPW eliminates all these possible
failures by implementing 4 individual load cells which is more
expensive way to build a scale.
