Health O Meter's 2400KL portable wheelchair scale is a lightweight electronic wheel chair scales offering a maximum
capacity of 800 pounds and weighing increments of 0.2 pounds. Its key feature is how extremely portable it is.
Rather than a large and heavy wheel chair scale that gets pushed around on wheels, the 2400KL portable wheelchair ramp scale folds in half,
and is transported using its carrying handle. The scale itself only weighs 24 pounds, so carrying it around is not a difficult task.
2400 KL digital wheel chair scales weigh units in pounds or kilograms and includes motion sensor weighing technology
for accurate true weight readings, not averaged readings like some of our competitor's models. Wheel chair sizes that the Health-O-Meter
2400 KL supports include: 21 1/2 inches to 29 3/4 inch widths.
The weight can be displayed in kilograms or in pounds (decimals, fractions of a pound, or lb/oz). It features an adjustable width mechanism that allows the user to fit various wheelchair widths onto the scale. It also folds up for easy portability or storage when it is not in use.
This scale can be operated using its AC adapter, or by 6 D-cell batteries (not included).

Electronic Medical Record (EMR) technology is supported by 2400KL portable wheelchair scale from Healthometer, but the EMR software itself is not included, and requires a specialist to configure. Precision Weighing Balances cannot offer these setup services. It is the responsibility of your own facility to hire a 3rd party consultant, or have an in-house professional perform the installation. Software setup is too complicated for the average computer user to install.
Transferring the weight of the patient to a computer requires serial communications software that needs to be installed on a computer and does not come with the scale. If you don't have EMR you could purchase WinWedge 32 Standard RS232 software allowing you to export patient's weight into an Excel spreadsheet for ease of documentation.
