The 400KL has all the features of the 402KL except to reduce the cost Healthometer does not include the height rod with the Healthometer 400KL beam scale. If you weigh over 390 lbs you can purchase the optional 55090 counter weights to increase capacity to 490lb / 210kg.

in the medical profession. The 400KL can weigh in either pounds or kilograms with Health o meter's engraved poise bars that show pounds and kilograms on both sides.

cover is easy to clean. Easy to assemble.
Measures
weight up to 390 pounds in 1/4-pound increments or 180 kilogram
in 100 gram increments (most household scales are accurate
only to the pound). A large, easy-to-read measuring
bar with engraved pound increments make weights easier to
read. Unlike many home models, it operates precisely
when used on carpeting. Non-slip, vinyl-covered platform
measures 10 1/2" by 14 inches. Hardened steel pivots
and bearings; heavy-gauge enameled steel base and upright.
The base alone weights only 21 lbs. The entire unit
weighs 40 lbs and ships via Ground.
Maximum-strength, unitized 3/32" steel, low-profile, non-tip
base with steel boxed levers, 3/16" hardened pivots and hardened
"V" bearings.
Drawn metal head horn/pillar construction with protective
rolled edges, rounded corners and baked enamel finish.
