x readability: 0-320g x 0.1mg]. The unit was a loaner to potential customer
so the balance's weigh pan and balance housing body has some small scratches
that shows cosmetically that the unit's not brand new, but the balance performs
as a brand new unit.
This balance was cleaned, tested and calibrated and meets the manufacturer specifications.
The balance has all the complete packing material and operation manual, but
the box will show signs that it was shipped around for before as a demonstrations
unit. Sartorius classifies this balance as DQE - Demo Quality Excellent.
Demo balances carry a limited 12 month manufacturer warranty while new balances
have a 3 year warranty.
