Self-contained portable bench beam scale, no field assembly is required.  Compact and portable design makes for easy operation and rugged use with 12" x 17" platform.  The PBB52X offers a total weigh capacity of 52 lbs and features 3 slides: 50 lb x 2 lb; 1 lb x 1/4 oz; 1 lb x 0.01 lb.  Built-in platform and steel locking mechanisms help ensure safe, secure operation and transportability.  While the PBB52 is Legal For Trade, it only offers readability at 1 lb x 0.02 lb, the PBB52X IS NOT LEGAL FOR TRADE, but offers double the readability at 1 lb x 0.01 lb.

Chatillon Bench Scales

PBB series mechanical bench scales are compact, self-contained beam scales exceptionally rugged yet easy to use. Ideal for laboratory, industrial and home use, constructed of steel and cast aluminum with adjustable hardened steel pivots and self-aligning steel bearings. Built-in platform and steel locking mechanism ensures safe, secure operation and portability. Class III "Legal For Trade" models are available. Sliding poise is standard and permits blank taring up to 10 lbs. Tare adjustment is tool operated. Bottom left or right beam sections may be used as a measured tare bar. Bench Beam Scales come assembled with adjustable leveling legs, bubble level indicator and built-in carrying handle. Approximate weight is 28 lbs with overall height approximately 5.5-inches (140 mm).
