We have NO remaining stock on the Acculab VIC-4kg. Acculab was part of the Sartorius Group and a victim of deleveraging. Acculab digital scales and the brand Acculab has terminated production on December 31, 2010, for all digital scales sold under the Acculab name. The information listed below on the VIC-4kg is for reference only for those people researching the specification on a VIC4kg scale they already own.
Yes - Acculab DOES NOT EXIST in 2011 since Sartorius decided to shutdown the Acculab brand name. The Acculab VIC-4kg was resurrected as the Sartorius AY4000 but now that the scale bears the Sartorius name it's a lot more money. Comparable scales with 1 gram readability would be models like the MyWeigh KD7000, A&D SK-5000WP, ECS 6KG, ECS 10KG, Ohaus SP6001 or the Ohaus NVT16000/1 Touch less Sensor Scale. If you need additional help finding a digital scale that is in stock give the experts a call at Precision Weighing Balances since we carry scales from many other manufacturers.

For those of you shopping around for the best price in digital portable scales, My Weigh makes the least expensive scales
we have to offer. These affordable scales may not have all the features that an Acculab balance has, however as far as
basic weighing is concerned, My Weigh portable scales can accomplish the task at hand and save you money.
Acculab balances are excellent weighing solutions, but often times, our customers are looking for a lower cost balance without all the bells and whistles included in an
Acculab balance. For our customers seeking a simplified digital balance, with less features than Acculab's products, we recommend My Weigh brand balances.
My Weigh's KD7000 balance offers 7000g x 1g at a much more affordable price.
Acculab has optional RS232 for $75.
RS232 interface is NOT available with My Weigh's KD7000.
Vic-4KG comes standard with AC Adapter or use with batteries (not included). My Weigh KD7000's AC Adapter is optional.
Only the KD7000 comes with a splash shield and removable cover.
5.5" x 5.0"
7" x 7"
KD7000 has a larger weigh pan.
We don't sell based on warranty because balances don't break people break balances, but if your into warranties, My Weigh is longer.
We can't sell Acculab balances at a lower price and continue to stay in business, however we can offer a more affordable alternative. My Weigh digital scales may not have all the features as Acculab, but if you need a low cost scale, My Weigh is the least expensive we have to offer.
