Used Sartorius GP5202 precision balances can be purchased from Precision Weigh Balances while supplies last.
These DQE balances were demo units and are in excellent shape. Looking at these balances, you would probably never know they
were used at Trade Shows for demonstrations. Before you purchase a brand new unit, we encourage you to consider buying a used GP5202
and save yourself money.
Sartorius designed the GP5202 (5200g x 0.01g) with a big focus on the gold marketplace
for the jewelry industry. The GP5202 features a large 7.5" x 8"
stainless steel weighing pan and comes standard with 6.9" diameter stainless
steel dish perfect for weighing bulk quantities of gold rope chains, but the GP5202
is not legal-for-trade.
Additional features include bi-directional RS-232 with high-contrast LCD with
backlit perfect for areas with poor lighting. Large control keys include
tare keys for left or right handed operation and a positive click.
The GP5202 precision balance produces steady readings using the high stability mode and the unique
Sartorius weighing system even if the environmental conditions are not ideal for
precision weighing. The Double Lever System, or DLS, for short based on
its special force transmission design. The proven monolithic systems is
cut from a single block of a special, highly rugged aluminum alloy using high-speed
21st century milling technology. The double lever principle offers two decisive
advantages: the design in the area of the pan linkage is highly resistant to mechanical
stress and therefore has exceptionally high mechanical stability, and the system
is about half the size of the monolithic block cell, allowing for a smaller footprint.
Like the monolithic weigh cell, it is cut from a single block of aluminum and
no screw fasteners are needed between functional parts. This keeps the system
less sensitive to fluctuations in temperature, and with fewer parts there is less
chance of failure.
The Monolithic DLS system offers unbeatable advantages for daily use like incredibly
fast response time and unfailing reliability and near-zero susceptibility to interference.
The reasons for these considerable advantages are two fold: the number of individual
parts has been reduced by more than 70% and the mechanical construction has been
designed to last for years of trouble-free operations.
Sartorius GP5202 toploading balance rivals the competition in the 0.01 gram readability category.
Cutting edge design, loaded with features and built in Germany by Sartorius, a
