We have NO remaining stock on the Acculab VIC-711. Acculab is a victim of deleveraging and the brand Acculab has terminated production on December 31, 2010. The information listed below on the VIC-711 is for reference only for those people researching the specification on a VIC711 scale they already own.
Yes - Acculab DOES NOT EXIST in 2011 since Sartorius decided to shutdown the Acculab brand name. The Acculab VIC-711 was resurrected as the Sartorius AY711 but the AY-711 has a different color plastic housing and now more money since it is sold under the Sartorius brand. We offer many excellent alternative models like the My Weigh's i1200 balance, Precision ECS1200, A&D EK-1200, A&D EJ-1500, or the Ohaus SP601.
Be sure to review the Adam Equipment Highland HCB3001 offering so many features, value at an affordable price. Adam's HCB Series comes with both the RS-232 and USB interface as standard equipment and the HandiCal - mechanical internal calibration with built in mass can be locked so only you calibrate the scale when you want to.
If you need additional help finding a digital scale that is in stock give the experts a call at Precision Weighing Balances since we carry scales from many other manufacturers.

For our customers seeking a simplified digital balance, with less features than Acculab's products, we recommend My Weigh brand balances.
My Weigh's i1200 balance offers 1200g x 0.1g and the ECS1200 digital gram scale at a much more affordable price.
Acculab has optional RS232 for $75.
RS232 interface is NOT available with My Weigh's i1200.
5.5" x 5.0"
5.8" x 5.8"
i1200 has a slightly larger weigh pan.
We don't sell based on warranty because balances don't break people break balances, but if your into warranties, My Weigh is longer.
Comes standard with AC Adapter or use with batteries (not included).
VIC-711 includes an external mass at no charge, but My Weigh only offers the 1 kg cal mass as an option.
We can't sell Acculab balances at a lower price and continue to stay in business, however we can offer a more affordable alternative. My Weigh digital scales may not have all the features as Acculab, but if you need a low cost scale, My Weigh is the least expensive we have to offer.
