We have NO remaining stock on the Acculab VIC-511. Acculab is a victim of deleveraging and the brand Acculab has terminated production on December 31, 2010. The information listed below on the VIC-511 is for reference only for those people researching the specification on a VIC511 scale they already own.
Yes - Acculab DOES NOT EXIST in 2011 since Sartorius decided to shutdown the Acculab brand name. The Acculab VIC-511 was resurrected as the Sartorius AY511 but these have different color plastic housing and now more money since it is sold under the Sartorius brand verses Acculab. We also offer many excellent alternative models like the My Weigh's i1200 balance, Precision ECS500, A&D EK-1200, A&D EJ-1500, or the Ohaus SP401.
Be sure to review the Adam Equipment Highland HCB3001 offering so many features, value at an affordable price. Adam's HCB Series comes with both the RS-232 and USB interface as standard equipment and the HandiCal - mechanical internal calibration with built in mass can be locked so only you calibrate the scale when you want to.
If you need additional help finding a digital scale that is in stock give the experts a call at Precision Weighing Balances since we carry scales from many other manufacturers.

For our customers seeking a simplified digital balance, with less features than Acculab's products, we recommend My Weigh brand balances.
My Weigh's i500 balance offers 500 g x 0.1 g and the ECS500 digital gram scale at a much more affordable price.
If you are a jeweler or pawn shop and were told by a Weights & Measures Inspector that you need a Legal for Trade Class II Scale the Acculab VIC511 is NOT Legal for Trade and we recommend you purchase the A&D EK-1200i or Mettler Toledo JL602-G/LA01 digital scale.
