Yes - Acculab DOES NOT EXIST in 2011 since Sartorius decided to shutdown the Acculab brand name. The Acculab SVI10A does not have an equivalent replacement under the Sartorius brand. For those customers looking for an alternative models in the price range of the SVI10A we recommend that you consider the Adam Equipment CPWplus6 or CPWplus15 bench scale.

Acculab SVI-10A low profile scale offers 10,000 grams weighing capacity with 1 gram readability.  The 12.4" x 12.4" x 2.5" weighing platform is constructed with a black metal base and stainless steel weight pan making this a great portion control scale.

Ideal for light industrial, shipping, counting and general weighing applications.  The new totally redesigned Acculab bench scales operate on AC powered or battery powered and are rugged making these scales extremely versatile.  Additional weighing applications include soils remediation, aggregate testing and other construction weighing applications requiring you to go out in the field to gather samples.

If you need more weighing capacity the SVI Series lets you choose from five capacities.  User friendly and easy to operate four-key operation (on/off, tare, calibration, function).  Detached display head for remote operation and large, angled LCD allow easy viewing of weighing results.  Backlit adjustable remote display. 

Caveat Emptor to anyone trying to sell you the old Acculab SV Series (Acculab SV-30, Acculab SV-50 or Acculab SV-100).  These new SVI Series offer superior electronics, performance and design to the old SV Series.  There are just so many new changes that you would be crazy to buy the discontinued SV Series from so surplus house or online vendor trying to dump old, obsolete SV Bench Scales.  The new SVI features four independent load cells in each corner of the weighing platform.

The SVI is a great low cost bench scale.  Blue Backlit LCD (0.75" high segment).  Adjustable indicator 0-90 degrees.
