We do not have any remaining parts or accessories left for the AND GF200.
GF200 digital milligram scale is the same high quality features of the A&D GX200 without motorized internal calibration weight. This state of the art laboratory milligram measurement instrument incorporates the Super Hybrid Sensor (SHS) weigh cell delivering you the ultimate in response speed - Just ONE Second.
The stabilization time of one second is achieved when FAST is selected for the response rate to read a displayed value after a sample is placed on the pan. Other features include: a data memory function to store up to 40 sets of weighing data; Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) data output using the standard RS-232C serial interface; Large bright vacuum fluorescent display which lets you read the display from wherever you are working, even in a dimly lit area; Comparator Indicators displaying the comparison results; Capacity Indicator, displaying the weight value in percentage relative to the weighing capacity; Hold Function, provided for weighing a moving object such as an animal; Underhook, for measuring density and weighing magnetic materials; Density Mode, for calculating the density of a solid; Reference Card, provided for a quick reference to the balance operation; IP54 level dust & splash; Patented Super Hybrid Sensor (SHS)
To keep cost low A&D designed the GF200 with the short plastic breeze break. To place item(s) on the weighing platform one needs to lift off the plastic top and place the sample on the weighing pan and then put the cover back on. To increase your efficiency in weighing samples(s) many customers decide to purchase the optional AND GX10 glass breeze break. The GX10 has 3 doors that will allow the operator to place items on the weighing platform for the top, left or right side. We always recommend the optional GX10 but this adds over $265 more to the cost of the GF200.
When the GF200 lab balance is first installed or when it is moved to another location, it should be calibrated to ensure accurate weighing results. We offer a full line of calibration weights including the recommended 200 gram calibration weight for the GF200. Every location in the world is positioned differently to "magnetic north" and therefore the acceleration of gravity is slightly different. In addition, barometric pressure effects the acceleration of gravity depending upon your location's altitude to sea level. This is why the user manual always states to calibrate the balance prior to weighing. Please scroll down further on this web page and you can see all the available accessories.
A&D Weighing balances equipped with the RS-232 interface can use AND's WinCT data acquisition software data communication software. Other manufacturer's charge you $100's more for either their balance communication software or a third party software but not with the A&D you can download WinCT balance software free.
High performance and quality is shown with a 5 year manufacturer warranty. Review the manufacturer warranty from other manufacturer's and you'll see their warranty is a lot less. Plus if you ever need repair A&D Weighing has two facilities in the USA located in Georgia and California for fast turn around.
If you prefer to just buy a milligram balance that comes standard with an all glass draftshield please consider either the Sartorius Practum 213-1S or Quintix 213-1S milligram balance. Plus the Sartorius Practum and Quintix come standard with USB interface while the A&D GF is a serial RS-232 interface and in today's technological age serial RS-232 is a thing of the past.
Are you working in a pharmaceutical lab and need to comply with stringent FDA requirements and must comply with SQmin ? Be sure to review Secura 213-1S since none of the A&D GF models allow you to enable SQmin and additional safety weighing features like the ability to program the minimum weight value so when you attempt to weigh samples below a set threshold the weight reading is displayed on screen in red. Secura is one of the world's most technologically advance weighing instrument we offer and also has built-in level verification, password protection, and memory tracking is also available. The Sartorius Practum, Quintix and Secura all feature a touch screen user interface for easy balance configuration.
We understand purchasing a quality milligram balance is a major capital expense and if you have any questions give us a call and one of our weighing experts can discuss your weighing application and get you the most affordable balance for your weighing needs. Precision Weighing Balances has been selling lab balances online since 1995 and we know balances so well we've been hired by some of the most prestigious law firms in America as an expert witness. Sadly, most of the catalog companies and vendors online have never even turned on a balance and can't answer any questions about how the balance functions.
If price is absolutely the #1 factor in you purchasing a 210 gram balance with 0.001g readability designed with a force restoration magnetic motor then we would recommend you take a look at the AND Weighing FX-200i. or newSartorius ENTRIS323-1S
The GF-Series
offers all the spectacular features of the GX-Seriesexcept the internal motorized
calibration feature has been removed. Therefore, the
GF200 milligram lab balance has the samedisplay, features,
ip-65 rating, SHS technology except
there is no internal calibration mass.
ISO 9000 procedures favor the calibration of balances with an external certified
calibration mass. A balance with internal motorized calibration
weight is a nice feature, but costly. Most balances with the internal
calibration feature also offer external calibration. External
calibration is vital since it is much more convenient to send out the
external calibration mass for recalibration/certification verses the
costly fee of having the internal calibration mass removed from the
balance and sent out for re-calibration.
In
addition, if you own several of the same balances just one external
traceable calibration is needed for ISO compliance.
Precision
Weighing Balances always recommends that you purchase the calibration
mass with any balance you select. This allows you
to calibrate the unit yourself without requiring the services
of an outside calibration firm. Best
of all calibration couldn't be simpler. Connect the AC
adapter and warm up the balance with nothing on the weighing
pan. Then simply turn "ON" the balance, allow
the balance to go through the power-up routine and then press
and hold the "CAL" until "CALout" is displayed.
The display walks you through the cal procedure in less than
1 minute. The entire cal is controlled by the user-friendly
keypad. The days of opening the balance and tweaking those
potentiometers and trim resistors to calibrate a scale are gone
with the advent of the digital circuit and EPROM technology
first implemented by A&D Engineer's.
Learn more about the AND FX-700CT as we demonstrate the balance and show you all the features this precision milligram weighing instrument offers. Basically the FX-700CT (152g x 0.001g) is the same balance as the HR-150a (152g x 0.0001g) but the FX-700CT displays 1/10 the resolution. If you want to learn more about the HR-a Series this video is well worth watching.
Before you make your final decision for purchasing your next milligram balance be sure to see the Sartorius Entris Series. Take your pick either motorized internal calibration with the Sartorius Entris323i-1S, 423i-1S or 623i-1S milligram balances. Want to spend a lot less and willing to give up motorized internal calibration then review these Entris balances that are external calibration only-Sartorius Entris323-1S, 423-1S or 623-1S. The Sartorius Entris 3 decimal place balances offer a circular draftshield that you load from the top. See the quick settling time as we place calibration weights on the weighing platform.
Sartorius Secura Laboratory Balance offer advanced weighing features compliant with the USP minimum sample weight requirements. The balance's display indicates when the minimum sample weight is below the required minimum weight limit.
Secura guarantees high reliability and security in regulated areas for the most common weighing ranges. Quintix is convenience in operation, calibration and data transfer. Even Practum features weighing technology at the highest quality level.
