calls for economy, the Model 311 & 310 fit the bill perfectly. Both
are designed for precise, all-around lab work. The unique pan and bow
design allows you to handle lab vessels, powders, even small lab animals with
ease. A built-in specific gravity platform stores in the base.
To speed weighing, the magnetic damping system brings the pointer to a rest
with a minimum number of swings.
Precision-ground knife edges and self aligning
agate bearings provide maximum sensitivity and reproducibility. Notched
beams provide positive positioning of poise, and magnetic dampening slows oscillation.
The Dial-O-Gram model replaces the two front beams with a vernier dial for faster
reading results.
The Dial-O-Gram makes readings even
faster with its precision-engraved dial. After approaching the weight
by sliding the poise on the notched beams, you "dial-in" the
precise weight -- to a hundredth of a gram -- on the individually-machined vernier.
Objects 10 grams and under can be weighed using only the dial.
