Gets Down to Basics With New Adventurer™ AS312 (310g x 0.01g) Portable Precision Balance.  Huge 4.7" diameter stainless steel weighing pan and operates on either AC adapter or batteries.

Staying true to the belief that “the customer is always right,” Ohaus Corporation created the Adventurer AS312, part of Ohaus’ newest line of low cost precision scales.  Designed for uncomplicated performance, the new balances have only those features necessary for routine weighing along with a few design and performance extras that help eliminate common nuisances that can arise in laboratory, industrial and educational settings.  The Adventurer AS312 is Ohaus' stripped down model and can not be purchase with an optional internal calibration nor is there any RS-232 port to interface the balance with a printer, computer or peripheral.

Adventurer AS312 balance has been designed with an up-front level indicator eliminating the need to look behind the balance during the leveling process.  A quick glance at the up-front level indicator helps to ensure that the balance is level prior to each use.

Housed in a compact and efficient design, the Adventurer SL is available in several precision models ranging from 150 x 0.001 grams to 8100 x 1 gram.  Two analytical models are also available with a capacity of 65 or 210 grams.  Simple to operate, the Adventurer SL has a seven segment LCD and two-button keypad.  The balances offer three simple application modes (weighing, simple parts counting, and percentage weighing) with 17 US and international weighing units (mg weigh mode is not available).

With twelve models to select from, the Adventurer SL is not overloaded with features seldom used in routine weighing applications, and comes with only those needed in laboratory, industrial or education settings.  You can review all the available models in the Adventurer SL Series at the bottom of this web page.

Multiple Application Modes Including: Parts Counting with Optimization - This mode allows the user to count based on a calculated piece weight.  With optimization, counting accuracy is improved through auto re-calculation of the piece weight. Percentage Mode - This mode allows the user to display the weight of a sample as a percentage of a reference weight.
Selectable Environmental Settings: Three filter modes and adjustable zero tracking are ideal for working in slow filling applications where sensitivity is a must.  When working in harsh environments, user can adjust balance settings to compensate for vibrations and other disturbances.
Protective In-Use Cover: The in-use cover is replaceable and offers protection against dust and debris, minimizing the chance of damage to the display and keypad buttons.
