SK-2000 digital electronic scale is used in hundreds of food processing plants for portion control and
grading applications throughout the food industry. Removable stainless
steel platform makes clean-ups a snap. The SK2000 is LFT
and NSF approved. The SK-2000 is perfect for people operating a convenience
store but really don't want to spend all the money for a price
computing scale. The SK-2000 is popular with candy store owners because
of the price, large 9.05" (W) x 7.48" (D) removable stainless steel
platform and operates on 6 'D' size batteries (not included) up to 1200 hours
with alkaline batteries. An optional 110V AC Adapter is available for $22.00.
A&D electronic scales are an excellent retail weighing solutions, but often times our customers call looking for a lower cost digital scale to get the weighing application done for less money. Also another issue with the A&D SK2000 is it ONLY weighs in Gram (2000 x 1 g ) or Pounds (4.4 x 0.002 lb). The SK2000 DOES NOT weigh in ounces, which many customers request.

Legal For Trade, NTEP Approved, Class III Scale since you are using the scale in a commercial applications where product is sold by weight, we recommend you look at the CAS SW-1-5LB digital scale. The CAS SW-1-5LB offers greater weighing capacity and the big selling point with the CAS is the scale weighs in Pounds, Ounces or Grams. Oh, another huge selling point is the CAS SW-1-5LB comes standard with the AC Adapter, while it is a pricey option on the SK2000.
