The HL-3000WPN is a Legal For Trade, NTEP Approved, Class II digital scale.  HL-3000WPN (5" x 5") has all the features of the HL-3000LWPN (5.4" x 6.8") except the HL-3000WPN has the smaller 5" x 5" weighing platform.  "Legal for Trade" scales are generally considered those scales which are intended by the manufacturer for use in "commercial" applications where product is sold by weight.  So if you sell coffee, tea, spice by the pound, ounce or gram this is the scale your weights and measures inspector typically requires you to have to operate your business.  So when that county weights and measures inspector calls on your business he might say - "what is the CofC or NTEP Approval number on the side of the scale you are using??"  Simply tell him/her you have the A&D model HL-3000WPN with NTEP Approval #05-008.

HL-3000WPN in 3 weighing mode - [3000 g x 1 g] or [6.6lb x 0.002lb] or [105.8oz x 0.1oz] and offers 5" x 5" inch stainless steel weighing pan.  This portable compact digital Legal for Trade scale only displays the weight and does not have a price computing function.  Most people use the HL-3000WPN and then take a calculate and multiple the weight multiplied by the unit cost.  If you are one of those people that can't do math that easy then you might be better off with a price computing scale like the AND SG-6KA (15lb x 0.005lb), Mettler-Toledo XRT 30lb (30lb x 0.01lb), or CAS AP-1 15 LB Scale (15lb x 0.002lb) price computing scale.  The problem with these price computing scales are none offer the accuracy of the HL-3000WPN and the HL-3000WPN weighs in 3 weigh modes while the price computing scales all weigh in decimal pounds only.

The HL-3000WPN water resistant scale has a tremendously high resolution of 1/3000 making it highly accurate.  The food scale is small in size making it extremely versatile and portable.  Four (4) adjustable feet make leveling the scale fast and ensure the ultimate in accuracy.  The scale even has a sprint bubble indicator next to the display making leveling the scale a cinch!
