The long cord length was also designed for when the WS-660M is placed in service at the doctor's office, weight-lifting competitions, or athletic weigh-in setting and large numbers of people are being weighed.  The remote display and be easily placed on a desk without the patient standing on top of you.  The remote display dimension are 7.25"W x 5.5"H and the indicator cord is not detachable. Notice the 4 large adjustable feet allowing you to level the scale in a cinch even when your floor isn't perfectly level.  The large feet offers greater stability verses many other medical scales on the market have tiny little feet.
