We have NO remaining stock on the Dura 50 pocket scale. MyWeigh Scale company has discontinued production on the Dura Scale series. The information listed below on the Dura Scale 50 is for reference only assisting people researching the specification on a My weigh durascale they already own. MyWeigh Scale developed a new replacement pocket scale called the My-weigh Palmscale 8.0 (300g x 0.01g) offering more features, performance and weighing capacity. See all the weighing specifications on the Palm 8.0 HERE.
My Weigh Durascales offer 2 digital weighing scale models: Durascale50
with a 50 gram weighing capacity and Durascale100 with 100 gram weighing capacity, both with 0.01 gram intervals.
Protective cover also doubles as a weighing tray.
The Durascale reads in 7 standard modes (Carat, Gram, Ounce, Grain, Troy Ounce,
Pennyweight, Milligram) plus advanced parts counting, full tare capacity, auto
calibration at a press of the button, programmable auto off feature, along with
an adjustable auto-off feature, full range tare, temperate / RF interference compensation
and more. Standard accessories: calibration weight included, pouch included,
onboard tool included.
Modern and rugged design of the Durascale features large rubber "Bumpers" at the
front and back of the scale act as stabilizers to keep the Durascale steady on
uneven surfaces. This design also help reduce vibration and help protect
the scale from damage if dropped. My Weigh Durascale 100 electronic digital
scale features a stainless steel weighing platform. This feature only applies
to the 100 gram version and not the Durascale50 model. Durascale
50 pocket scales come with a plastic weighing platform.
The Durascale is backed by an unprecedented manufacturer's LIFETIME warranty.
My Weigh Durascale 100 gram or 50 gram Digital Scales
Weigh Durascale Electronic weighing scales are an extremely high precision
instrument. Unlike other precision pocket scales, My Weigh Durascales
use TRUE 10,000 DIVISION (d=10000) German-Made
Durascale electronic pocket scales are an advanced
weighing instrument that offers
7 standard weighing modes plus advanced parts counting.
Additional features include adjustable auto-off feature, full
range tare, temperature / RF interference compensation and more.
The design of My Weigh electronic scales are both modern and rugged.
Large rubber "Bumpers" at the front and back of the scale act
as stabilizers to keep the Durascale steady
on uneven surfaces. They also help reduce vibration
and help protect the scale from damage if dropped. This novel idea
of using large soft rubber bumpers is another My Weigh innovation.
Caveat Emptor - The Dura 100 increments in 0.2 grain intervals while
the Dura 50 will increment in 0.1 grain divisions. We have received
feedback from customers crying it is the end of the world that the Dura
100 increments in 0.2 gn that we recommend you buy the Dura 50 if grains
are that important. Yes, many other websites list the DuraScale
100 that it increments in 0.2 grains but it is WRONG.
Also remember these Dura scales are low cost and if you are a hard-core
hunter or marksman maybe you should spend some more money and buy the Acculab VIC123 or A&D GF200.
Remember you pay for what you get. Without a question if you have
less than $100 to spend the Dura Scale is the best buy for under $100.
If you're some perfectionists and fanatic demanding accuracy dig deeper
in your pocket and buy the Acculab
VIC123 or spent even more and buy the GF200 or FX-200i.
FYI - the more you spend the better the accuracy and repeatability.
We have people call telling us the Dura Scale does not performing the
same as their analytical
balance and it is like they can't understand just maybe there is a
reason why one scale cost under $100 while another cost several hundred
or even a thousand dollars. We have sold thousands of Dura Scales
and it is an excellent scale if you have less than $100 but again don't
call us complaining if you are some gunsmith saying the scale should do
this or that. We don't make the scale we just sell them and the
marketplace demanded a low cost scale so MyWeigh built it.
