Mettler Toledo JB1203-C/A-F are legal for trade carat scales with NTEP approval in gram weighing modes.  This carat scale offers fully automatic internal calibration ensuring precise weighing, even during temperature changes.  This automatic calibration internally re-calibrates the scale if the temperature changes enough to affect accurate weighing.  A display begins to flash “auto cal” when the scale senses a need to re-calibrate.  Weighing platter must be emptied before the automatic calibration can proceed.
