battery-operable, giving you an alternative
to stationary power outlets. (See “Standard
features at a glance” for a list of these
models). So you can take along a talented
weighing instrument anywhere in the field.
When you need true portability, just install
eight commercially available 1.5 V AA
batteries, and you’re all set to go. The power
saver feature extends the life of the batteries,
whether or not they’re the rechargeable or
non-rechargeable kind. This function will
automatically shut off the balance after
2 minutes of non-use. Two more plus points
for portability: the balance’s compact size
and light weight.
