The AZ64 is Sartorius entry level analytical balance that does not offer all the advance features the Sartorius ED124S, CPA64S or Sartorius Cubis Analytical Balance offers. The AZ64 has a smaller 3.9" weigh pan, RS-232 and calibration is achieved externally and requires you to purchasing an optional 50g class 1 calibration weight. You don't have the ability to weigh below for weigh magnetic materials or hot items, Sartorius does not sell a density kit for the AZ Series although we do offer an aftermarket density kit. Also the draftshield is permanently fixed on the AZ64 while the CPA64S the draftshield is removable for glove box weighing applications or weighing wafers that won't fit in the draftshield. The ED124S, CPA64S and Sartorius Cubis Analytical Balance all have internal calibration.
