Salter Brecknell's ES2500 equestrian scale is a large high capacity vet scale capable of weighing up to 2500 pounds.  Weigh all breeds of horses, since most will fall below the maximum capacity of Salter's ES2500 farm scale. 

Low profile platform makes it easier for an animal such as a horse to step onto the weighing platform.  Protective matting on the equestrian scale's weighing platform minimizes injuries inflicted on the horse's hooves.  This mat creates a non-slip surface which helps to prevent the horse from slipping on the platform and falling down, which can cause serious injury.

Salter Brecknell ES2500 equestrian scale is powered by battery or AC power depending on your location and preferences.  If you are weighing horses on a farm, you may not have an AC outlet available, so battery operation would be ideal.  Remote indicator detaches and can be brought over to the nearest AC outlet to be charged, rather than having to move the entire scale.
