YWP03G weigh dishes are our medium-sized weighing pans that can be used for weighing gems or other materials that may not be easily weighed directly on your balance's
weighing platform. These weighing pans make your weighing applications much easier at a reasonable price compared to other digital scale dealers.
Weighing pans can be purchased when buying one of our balances to assist you with weighing applications. If you are weighing materials such as powder, you probably do not want to pour the powder directly on the weighing platform on the balance. Under these circumstances, you would want to purchase a weighing pan that can be accomodated using your balance's tare feature.
Simply pour the powder, or whatever material you need to weigh into the weigh pan for best weighing results.
Above is an example of the weighing pan being used with a Sartorius balance. Notice the balance is still reading at 0.00 gram because of the tare feature. Now the material being weighed can be placed in the weighing pan, and a precise weight reading can be determined.
