Set of Healthometer counterweights for Health O Meter's Physician balance beam scale models.

• Counterweights expand the capacity of all physician beam scales
• Set consists of 2 counterweights: 150 lb counterweight for maximum capacity of 500 lbs; 40 kg counterweight for maximum capacity of 200 kg
• For 400 Series Medical Beam Scales (Models: 400KL, 402KL, 402LB, 402LBCERT)

To use the counterweights it works like this:

For 150 lb counterweight only: If the weight of the patient is between 350 lbs and 424 lbs

1. Place the large (lower) poise weight in the 250 lb notch.
2. Hang 150 lb counterweight in notch on lower poise bar between 50 lbs and 100 lbs.
3. Weigh the patient normally using the small and large poise weights.
4. To arrive at the patient’s total weight, add the weights registered on the small and large poises and add 88 lbs. Refer to the enclosed quick reference guide to arrive at the total weight.

If the weight of the patient is between 425 lbs and 500 lbs

1. Place the large (lower) poise weight in the 250 lb notch.
2. Hang 150 lb counterweight in notch on lower poise bar between 150 lbs and 200 lbs.
3. Weigh the patient normally using the small and large poise weights.
4. To arrive at the patient’s total weight, add the weights registered on the small and large poises and add 150 lbs. Refer to the enclosed quick reference guide to arrive at the total weight.
