This electronic clinical scale provides additional support with an easy-grip handrails on the front and sides of this bariatric scale for patient stability. The handrails allow the patient to hold onto something if they have trouble maintaining their balance while standing on this medical scale. The motion sensing weighing technology will compensate for movements the patient makes while standing on the weighing platform.
The 1100KL Pro Plus Digital Stand-on Scale from Health O Meter comes with wheels so moving this high capacity medical digital scale is not a problem. 1000 pound weighing capacity and increments in 0.2 lb graduations makes the 1100KL ideal for most bariatric clinics and weight loss clinics focused on severely obese patients. Hospitals and doctors dispensing medication by weight can press the mode button and weigh patients in kilograms up to 454 kg capacity with 0.1 kg graduations.
The 2 heavy-duty wheels on one side of the platform allow for medical staff to easily transport the digital scale from room to room or even the other end of the hospital. Healthometer designed this medical scale to be transported throughout your medical facility and it operates on either AC adapter or six (6) standard AA batteries so you are not required to search for available outlets room to room.

Electronic Medical Record (EMR) technology is supported by 2500KL medical wheelchair scales from Healthometer, but the EMR software itself is not included, and requires a specialist to configure. Precision Weighing Balances cannot offer these setup services. It is the responsibility of your own facility to hire a 3rd party consultant, or have an in-house professional perform the installation. Software setup is too complicated for the average computer user to install.
Transferring the weight of the patient to a computer requires serial communications software that needs to be installed on a computer and does not come with the scale. If you don't have EMR you could purchase WinWedge 32 Standard RS232 software allowing you to export patient's weight into an Excel spreadsheet for ease of documentation.
