The Sartorius Element is an entry-level balance for the laboratory, designed for multi-faceted and changing purposes.  The option of using high-capacity batteries means you can use the balance independently of a power supply or in a stationary installation.  Clear operator guidance features make it easy to adapt the balance to different applications.  If the balance needs to be connected to a computer at some later stage, an interface port supporting RS-232 or USB can be simply plugged into the back panel.  This scale has an easy storage unit for your calibration weights to ensure safety of them.  With an excellent backlit LCD display you can operate the scale even in dark locations.  The balance has high quality raised buttons to ensure continued quality of the scales interface.  Unlike the ELT-103 model this model and other ELT series models has a square stainless steel platform to ensure more surface area for weighing items on your balance.

Prior to placing an order for the ELT-601 please consider a 5-7 days lead time for Sartorius to build the ELT-601 since typically Sartorius does not keep these in stock and they are made to order.  For many people they can't accept a lead time so many buy the Acculab VIC-711 since we keep the VIC-711 in stock and they are very similar in design and specifications as the ELT-601.  By no means are they the same scale since the ELT-601 offers additional circuitry which provides better stability.

Sartorius typically has no inventory so it is probably best that you call us prior to placing an order so we can check if there is stock. Sartorius is experiencing excessive lead times due to lack of parts. If there is no stock we can offer you equivalent balances from other manufacturers which are in stock. Sartorius typically gives us lead times of two to three weeks, but many times these lead times extend to 2 to 3 months. If you can work with these lead times place the order on line, but if you cannot work with these lead times it is best to call us and we can tell you what is in stock.
