Mettler Toledo's HB43 moisture balance delivers quick and reproducible results using halogen heating technology. Moisture determination in laboratory or production environments can be determined in minutes using Mettler Toledo's predefined rapid drying program.
Rugged and compact Mettler Toledo moisture analyzers are easy to clean if samples are spilled. HB43 moisture balances have large keys giving direct access to main functions which makes operation self-explanatory.
Affordable HB43 Mettler Toledo moisture balances are an economic solution finding
moisture content determination in lab samples. High capacity moisture analyzers
from Mettler Toledo are also available at Precision Weighing Balances. Choose
the 61 gram capacity HG63 moisture
balance, or the 81 gram HR83
moisture analyzer for best results. Let your specific weighing applications
determine what halogen heating moisture balance is appropriate for you.
HB43 Compact Halogen Moisture Analyzer

needs.
Warning
- Moisture balancesshould not be used on any volatile organic sample with flash points.
Even a MSDS rating of 1. Samples with low flask points like Acetaldehyde
-38°C or MEK -4°C should not be used with the Mettler HB43 Moisture
Balance and maybe you should look at Karl Fisher as an alternative.
Although you might presently perform analysis with an oven on these samples
the ovens typically have ventilation and a much larger cavity than the
typical moisture balance that operates on the principles of TGA.
In addition, with most moisture balances there is no ventilation so all
the fumes remain inside the hood of the moisture balance. We
strongly recommend you consult with a safety specialist always prior to
using any moisture balances for your safety.
