It's a sad, sad, sad day for the competition like Mettler-Toledo and Sartorius
since now there is a new competitor that builds a milligram balance over 1000
gram weighing capacity. Lab managers are going to rejoice since the price
is right for the GF-1000 milligram balance. Give Mettler a call and ask
them what they have for 1100g x 1 mg and the PRICE. We are not a Mettler
Toledo Laboratory Balance Dealer, but we are an Authorized Sartorius Dealer offering the CPA1003S and
we have nothing in the price range that compare to the A&D GF-1000.
Plus A&D is backed with a 5 year limited manufacturer warranty and the last
time we checked Sartorius & Mettler had a much shorter warranty. Oh,
Yes A&D comes with free data
acquisition software WinCT allowing you to import the data into your PC software,
such as Windows based Word/Excel software. The balance data communication
software is included as standard equipment unlike other manufacturer's that charge
$100's for their software. Plus the GF-1000 milligram balance
can be purchased with the optional GX-02 USB Interface which replaces the RS-232 or to make things even easier purchase the optional USB to 25pin RS-232 Converter. Add it all up and A&D is going
to turn the weighing industry on their heads offering quality products, always
in stock, spectacular technical support, plus A&D service centers on both
the East and West Coast.
GF1000 comes standard with a low cost breeze break were the operator accesses the weighing platform by lifting the top cover. There is an optional GX10 draft shield with three sliding glass doors allows for easy access from the right, left or top.
A&D Lab Balances are accompanied by the industry leading five-year warranty,
assuring long lasting quality and performance. Compare all the features,
standard accessories, and price and you'll see it's tough to pass up purchasing
any of the A&D Weighing Laboratory Balances for your precision weighing needs.
Need to use the balance in a area without a computer?? No problem A&D
offers an optional
8121B data printer to meet your GLP/GMP requirements.
Never heard of A&D? A&D is currently the world's third largest manufacturer of laboratory and industrial balances with 20% of the world market share. Established in 1977, A&D Company, Ltd. has grown from developing digital-to-analog converters for companies such as Nippon Telegraph & Telephone, to becoming a world class producer of advanced measuring equipment for medicine, science and industry. A&D established itself as a multinational corporation, with offices in the United States, Great Britain, Germany, Australia, Korea, Taiwan and Russia, and as a world leader in measurement equipment. The company's competitive edge is the direct result of its ability to leverage strong engineering and manufacturing capabilities, while incorporating highly accurate analog and digital technologies into broad product lines focused to provide customers with the greatest value.
We understand purchasing a quality milligram balance is a major capital expense and if you have any questions give us a call and one of our weighing experts can discuss your weighing application and get you the most affordable balance for your weighing needs. Precision Weighing Balances has been selling lab balances online since 1995 and we know balances so well we've been hired by some of the most prestigious law firms in America as an expert witness. Sadly, most of the catalog companies and vendors online have never even turned on a balance and can't answer any questions about how the balance functions.

The GF-Series
offers all the spectacular features of the GX-Seriesexcept the internal motorized
calibration feature has been removed. Therefore, the
GF1000 milligram lab balance has the samedisplay, features,
ip-65 rating,SHS technology except there is no internal calibration mass.
ISO
9000 procedures favor the calibration of balances with an external
certified calibration mass. A balance with internal motorized
calibration weight is a nice feature, but costly. Most
balances with the internal calibration feature also offer external
calibration. External calibration is vital since it is
much more convenient to send out the external calibration mass
for recalibration/certification verses the costly fee of having
the internal calibration mass removed from the balance and sent
out for re-calibration.
In
addition, if you own several of the same balances just one external
traceable calibration is needed for ISO compliance.
Precision
Weighing Balances always recommends that you purchase the calibration
mass with any balance you select. This allows you
to calibrate the unit yourself without requiring the services
of an outside calibration firm. Best
of all calibration couldn't be simpler. Connect the AC
adapter and warm up the balance with nothing on the weighing
pan. Then simply turn "ON" the balance, allow
the balance to go through the power-up routine and then press
and hold the "CAL" until "CALout" is displayed.
The display walks you through the cal procedure in less than
1 minute. The entire cal is controlled by the user-friendly
keypad. The days of opening the balance and tweaking those
potentiometers and trim resistors to calibrate a scale are gone
with the advent of the digital circuit and EPROM technology
first implemented by A&D Engineer's.
