Vending Route Drivers, Car Washes, Casinos, Laundromats, and Amusement Centers use the VW-330A-C-15000 Counting Scale to count quarters fast.  Time is money and this counting scale can pay for itself in labor cost savings real fast.  This counting scale is not specifically designed for counting coins so it won't show the dollar amount, but instead the number of quarters on the weighing pan.  Simply set the sample size to 5 pieces, place 5 quarters on the scale and then pile on the quarters on the weighing pan and the scale will tell you the total number of quarters.  Again this counting scale is not designed only for coins so you can also count hardware like hinges and knobs if you were a cabinet maker.

VW-330A-C-15000 Counting Scale increments in 0.001 lb divisions and the total weight on the weighing pan should be no more than 33 lbs.  Toggle the switch located on the bottom of the scale converting to kilograms and offers 15 kg capacity and increments in 0.0005 kilograms.  

Counting scale with high or ultra high internal resolutions (1 part in a million or two million) and sensitivity.  What does this mean to my counting accuracy???  Almost nothing!

The internal resolution or sensitivity is the ability for the scale's internal analog-to-digital processor to identify and count the number of unfiltered divisions of the scale's or load cell's output.  Note: the scale output is usually about half of load cell output due to dead loading on the platter and some safety factors.

99% of the counting scales below $1000 are built with aluminum counterforce or also called load cell sensors.  They are typically accurate from 1 part in 3000 to 1 part in 10,000 divisions.  Yes, scales and balances can display the weight to 30,000 divisions or even up to 100,000 divisions, but they are not metrologically accurate to this level.  Sensitivity of 1 million count is the ability to further differentiate 100 divisions within 1 part in 10,000 divisions.  However, if the sensor is not accurate or linear, the counting accuracy has no relevance.  This is unlike lab scales with magnetic force sensors (the A&D FC-5000Si & FC500Si has a force motor) the linearity is much better than resistive strain gauge sensors where it measures the "bending of metals".

What is most important in load cell counting scale, similar to precision balances, is the quality of the sensor or load cell.  VW330AC uses one of the best and most costly HBM sensors which is known worldwide for its accuracy.  VMC puts your dollars into quality components and not marketing hypes.
