MyWeigh CTS6000 counting scale offers all of the features called for in industrial
warehousing and production applications - ease of use, simple robust construction
for factory floor durability, genuine portability, and just the right levels
of counting performance.
Displayed resolution of 1:60,000 is making other counting scale manufacturers
scream - "how can MyWeigh make such an awesome counting scale for such
a low cost? MyWeigh is going to drive us out of business and ruin the
counting rental forever!! Who will rent a counting scale when www.balances.com
is selling the counting scale for less than the typically weekly rental?"
MyWeigh CTS Counting Scales come standard a NiMH rechargeable battery pack and
the battery pack automatically charges when operating the scale is plugged in
using the power cord. These counting scales can be used anywhere - on
or off site - at any time.
Operation is easy: Either place a known quantity on the scale or enter a known
unit weight (a.k.a. APW - Average Piece Weight). This parts counting scale
will automatically display the total count of all parts on the plate as well
as calculate and display the unit weight of the part.
The sample quantity is freely selectable and because the bigger the sample the
better the result, the software in the machine automatically updates and enhances
its average piece weight data as components are loaded onto the plate during
counting.
Clear, well spaced keys ensure accurate data entry and three separate LCD displays
clearly show the total weight, the unit weight and the quantity.
The memory accumulation feature keeps a running tally of each individual count
- invaluable in batch counting operations or when accumulation counting large
quantities of the same part.
The display will show the total on the scale, the overall total and the number
of batches counted. For checkweighing or for batching a simple key-press
will program the scales with any predetermined quantity. A buzzer sounds
when the quantity is reached or exceeded.
Ships via UPS Ground for $17.50 in the contiguous 48 states from our facility
in Bradford, MA. No international orders, or to APO's, AK, HI or PR please.
The left display shows the total weight on the platform (295.0g).
This means the 16 bolts on the platform weighs 295.0 grams.
The MyWeigh CTS Series ONLY weighs in grams only. The scale
DOES NOT weigh in pounds.
The middle display shows the unit weight (18.2122 grams).
This value means the counting scale equate 18.2122 grams is equal
to 1 part. The unit weigh is determined by the scale taking
the weight of sample pieces divided by the sample number enter
when the scale was initially setup.
The right display shows the piece count (16 pieces). In
this scenario 16 bolts are on the weighing platform.

CTS Series Counting Scales includes a choice of 2 different
models to meet many different parts counting application. Economically
priced allowing you to purchase your own counting scale for practically
the same amount your local scale company or equipment rental company would
charge for a 2 week rental. Purchasing your own counting scale eliminates
the chances of being told "all of our rentals are out, try us back
next week".
Don't let our low price fool you. MyWeigh Scale Company is a global
supplier of balances and scales and backs their product with a limited
lifetime warranty against factory defects.
Applicable applications for the CTS Series include:
Copy centers or print shops can count standard 8 1/2 x 11 sheet
paper or business cards with the CTS6000
Media fulfillment centers counting CD Roms or media packs choose
the CTS6000
Plumbing contracting counting out 1/2" copper fitting for the
job maximize their profits with the CTS3000.
Car Wash business buy the CTS3000 to count quarters as a great alternative
to expensive and overpriced coin counting machines. The typical
quarter
weighs 5.7 gramsso the CTS3000 is perfect.
Determining the length of cable, hose, chain & rope. One might
ask how could a counting scale determine the length? Measure out 25
feet of cable > enter a part count of 25 pieces > and now your
counting scale will determine the feet of cable on the scale. The
CTS3000 works great for counting 14/3 romex cable typically used to
wire homes.
No matter what counting scale you purchase one thing
is imperative - the part/piece you are counting must be uniform in weight.
In order for counting scales to count the scale must be able to determine
the average piece weight (APW). It is the responsibility of the
operator to tell the scale how many pieces of the same item are on the
weighing platform in the beginning for the counting scale to compute the
APW.
My Weigh Counting Scales Clearly show the total
weight on the weighing platform, individual
weight of each item, and the total number
of items being weighed.
Designing the CTS Counting Scale with a power cord is simpler and does
not interfere with other cords plugged into a receptacle. AC Adapter
are big, clunky and more apt to fall out of power receptacle.
All CTS Counting Scales come standard with an internal NiMH rechargeable
battery pack and offers up to 30 hours use when fully charged.
Note: Try to avoid purchasing a counting scale
with more capacity than you typically will be needing.
If 90% of the time you will be counting no more than 6000 grams
(equivalent to 13.2 lbs) of parts then a 6000 gram capacity
counting scales is a better choice than a 30000g (equivalent
to 66.1 lbs) capacity scale since you may be sacrificing resolution
which is critical to the accuracy of your counts. In those
situations where the items being counting will weigh greater
than the capacity of the scale, you simply count half the items
and then the second half. MyWeigh recommends the average
piece weight (APW) must be 3 times greater than the default
resolution (1 division - the increment of the scale).
For example, if we say a $1 USD bill weighs 1 gram then the correct
selections for a counting scale would be the CTS6000. The
CTS6000 specs in the table above shows the Readability
is 0.1 gram. If you ever plan on counting 10000 - $1
USD bills at a time and typically count out 5000 $1 bills per money
bag then you are better off buying greater resolution and purchase
the CTS6000. The goal is to maximize the resolution of
the scale and not purchase a counting scale with capacity that
you may never use. It's always nicer to have more resolution
than required for your counting application verses more capacity.
Fast, Accurate Results - Fast piece counts -- accurate
down to the last part. No lost inventory or time wasted by inefficient
operation. Three displays simultaneously show the total weight
on platform. average piece weight (APW), parts count
