AAA Series precision analytical balances are
your answer to the conscious effort to get the most balance for
your money. These balances feature internal motorized calibration,
robust die cast aluminum housing with stainless steel weighing pan
and removable weighing chamber floor makes clean-ups a breeze.
The generously proportioned weighing chamber and weighing pan, together
with the practical, but uncomplicated operating features make it
a pleasure to use the AAA Analytical Balance. Three sliding
glass doors allows for easy access from the right, left or top.
Combining
high resolution with highly competitive prices the AAA Series outshines
all other analytical balances with internal motorized calibration
on the market today. The simple five-button keypad is designed
for ease of use and provides fast stabilization times with the consistent
and dependable weighing results you need for your precision weighing
requirements. Attention to fine details like the "TARE"
key (the one you'll use most) is highlighted in yellow for quick
recognition and use emphasizes Adam Equipment's experience in designing
fine precision weighing instruments.
Compensate for minor temperature variations by simply
pressing the "CAL" button on the display and the AAA Analytical
Balance's built-in calibration weight allows the user to seamlessly
set the balance for maximum accuracy quickly and simply. The
AAA can be calibrated externally, but requires accessing a menu
structure via the keypad and entering a special service code parameter
along with the purchase of optional external calibration masses. For those customers who require yearly certification to a known
external calibration mass to meet their ISO requirements we recommend
the AEA series over the
AAA since its external calibration is much easier - by just pressing
the "CAL" keypad and placing the external mass on the
weighing pan.
The new ABC software (Automatic Balance
Calibration) can sense the change in ambient temperature outside predetermined
limits and automatically perform the calibration for you. The
GLP compliant software package enables print out of full calibration
details when connected with the Adam Thermal
printer.
State-of-the-art
software and force restoration
weighing technology ensure consistent and reliable levels of performance.
The cantilever mounted weighing pan effectively isolates the sensitive
force restoration mechanism from the contents of the weighing chamber,
helping to ensure continuous reliable performance.
Seven selectable weighing modes (grams, milligrams,
carats, grains, mommes, ounces, pennyweight) and bi-directional
RS-232 interface (selectable 300, 600, 1200, 2400, 4800 & 9600
baud) are standard. Data can be sent via the RS-232 to the
Adam Thermal Printer or PC by simply pressing the "PRINT"
key on the indicator keypad. The balance can also be configured
to stream the data out for continuous output for weight loss versus
time analysis. The Date & Time printing function can be
enabled to meet GLP/GMP requirements.
All
Adam Analytical balances feature an Auto Zero function to automatically
rezero the balance which can be enabled or disengaged. Auto
zeroing will reset the zero of the balance if the zero point should
drift from the initial zero condition. The auto zero function
is typically enabled to ensure a stable zero condition. However,
some weighing operations may be affected by this function.
Examples are filling applications where the materials flow very
slowly from a buret or liquids that change their state from liquid
to gas while being weighed. If the user tares the balance
with the sample on the pan and is looking for the amount of material
that might evaporate - having the autozero function set may not
show the true weight loss. Disengaging the Auto Zero function
will eliminate this problem and can be changed simply by accessing
the "F" key from the display pad.
For
working in an unstable environment digital filters and suppression of
the last digit on the display (in grams mode only i.e.: 20.0151 >
20.015) facilitate optimal response time and speeds up weighing operations.
A big, clear LCD display and sealed key-pad with a positive feel "click" make it easy to operate
the AAA.
